Early Childhood Sports & Movement Coach

Jumping Jim’s is always interested in connecting with enthusiastic people who love helping children learn through movement and play. We run engaging sports and movement programs for early learning environments, and we’re always open to hearing from potential coaches who would be a great fit for our team.
This role is ideal for university students, childcare educators, personal trainers, teachers, or anyone who enjoys working with young children in an active and fun environment.
This role involves travelling between early learning centres to deliver active movement sessions for children aged 1–5.
Who are we?
Jumping Jim’s is a small, passionate team dedicated to helping young children develop confidence, coordination and a love of movement.
We deliver fun, engaging sports and movement programs to Early Learning Centres, Family Day Care homes, and community classes across the Gold Coast and South Brisbane regions.
Our sessions focus on building fundamental movement skills, confidence, teamwork and participation in a positive and supportive environment.

What You’ll Do
As a Jumping Jim’s coach, you will travel to early learning environments to deliver our structured sports and movement sessions to young children.
Responsibilities include:
Leading small group sessions for children
Delivering our structured sports and movement program
Creating fun, inclusive and high-energy sessions
Encouraging participation and confidence in children of all abilities
Building positive relationships with children, educators and centre directors
Representing Jumping Jim’s in a professional and friendly manner
All lesson plans, equipment and training are provided.
Experience
Experience working with children is highly valued but not essential.
Many of our coaches come from backgrounds such as:
Early childhood education
Teaching or studying education
Personal training or sports coaching
Youth work or childcare

Requirements
You must have, or be willing to obtain:
Current Blue Card (Working With Children Check)
Current Driver’s License and reliable vehicle
First Aid Certificate (preferred)
Legal right to work in Australia
